Kenton Samuels is a former civil servant and missionary. Having spent four and a half years working in central Japan, initially as a teacher and also as an administrator, he now lives in the UK. Born and raised in the West Midlands to Jamaican parents, Kenton has always been fascinated by culture and perception, a trait reflected in his passion for writing poetry, fiction, horror, and all of the mysterious things in between. The Rice Filter is his first published novel.
