Samuel, Andrew

Andrew Samuel is honorary research professor in engineering design in the Department of Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering at the University of Melbourne. Since his appointment in 1970 he has developed a structured-problem-based undergraduate learning environment. His research interests have encompassed engineering design, engineering education and robot kinematics. In his career at Melbourne he has attracted over 1.5 million AuD in competitive government and industry research grants.
