Sample, Kate

Kate Sample is a Jew-by-choice and writer living in Chicago. A native of Ft. Wayne, Indiana, Kate lived in Indianapolis, Denver, and Philadelphia before moving to her favorite city in 2008. She fell in love with Judaism in 2010 and converted more than two years later. Her favorite mitzvah is saying the Shema each morning and evening, when she imagines that at least one other Jew is reciting it at the same time somewhere in the world.
