Salwi, Dilip

Dilip M Salwi popularized science fiction among children in India. He wrote on concepts of science, scientists and the environment in an engaging way. He is often referred to as the 'pioneer' of science fiction in India. Salwi wove stories about the planets of our galaxy in Meet the Planets and created futuristic worlds in The Robots are Coming and The Aliens have Landed & Alien Encounters. Salwi lived and wrote in Delhi. He won several national awards for popularizing science.
