H.E. SALES is Senior Lecturer of English Language and Linguistics at the College of St Mark and St John, Plymouth, UK. She teaches English Language and Linguistics to British undergraduates, and professional courses in Europe and Britain, including courses for engineers. She taught communication skills to engineering students at Singapore Polytechnic and other tertiary institutions before joining the British Council in Singapore, eventually becoming Director of General and Business English courses.
