I grew up in England and immigrated to Canada by ship in 1970. It took six days and we arrived in Montreal on a foggy, September morning after a rough trans-Atlantic crossing. After the birth of my second daughter, my then husband was offered a job in the United States and we moved to Connecticut where I have lived ever since. A long time ago when I was between jobs, I started to write a novel.
