Children have always been a big part of Lucinda Sage-Midgorden's life. She worked in Montessori schools, day care centers, and child development centers reading and telling stories to the children in her care. The years went by and Lucinda continued telling stories by getting a degree in theatre from Graceland University and later a Masters in Theater Arts from Portland State University.
