Russell, Lisa

Lisa Russell is a 28 year old Guelph-based underground poet who has not shared her work with many. Yet she has taken writing classes through the University of Guelph and the University of Manchester, England, as well as working with a Ryerson professor. She doesn't have a degree, but if there are marks for experience this woman has seen it all. Not having an easy go at life and suffering from Mental Health issues, she has overcome her demons the only way she knows how and that is through her writing. She has been writing since she was a child and it has always been her passion.
