Laura J. Moyers has been teaching music in the public school system for twenty five years. She was recognized as 2013 Leavenworth Elementary Teacher of the Year and Kansas Regional Teacher of the Year. In just twenty-four months, her innovative efforts garnered her school's music department over $17,000 in grants, including 20th Century Fox/N.A.F.M.F. and Glee Mash Up awards.
