ALFONSO RUIZ DE AGUIRRE (Toledo, 1968) has always been an inveterate reader. He didn't venture into professional writing, however, until his thirties... a career he started almost by accident. His novels and short stories soon began to win literary competitions: Felipe Trigo (El Bano de la Cava, 2001), Diputacion de Guadalajara (El arbol de la vida, 2001) and Ciudad de Toledo (Olivera de Bernuy, 2001).
