Rowe, Jeremy

Mesa researcher, author, and collector Jeremy Rowe has selected over 200 images from his private collection that tell the unique story of the development of Maricopa County from its beginnings in the 1860s through its emergence as an agriculture powerhouse and destination for tourists and health seekers in 1920. This period provided the foundation for the explosive growth that would follow and was documented by many of Arizona's best early photographers.
