Rothery, Mike

Mike Rothery was born in Yorkshire, England in 1949, and although an avid scribbler for most of his life, only started writing novels in 2013. Running away to sea at fifteen, he served twenty five years in the Royal Navy. He then took a break from the sea to settle down in the Midlands, retiring as a Company Director in 2011. But instead of reaching for his slippers and pipe, he returned to the sea, this time in sailboats. Mike now lives in Dorset.
