This journey and trip took place in the summer when J. D. Rosenthal had finished grade three. And had spent the whole of grade four drawing animals he had seen and talk to. Monkeys down a muddy river is made from coloured paper, cutting and pasting collage, made to share for show and tell. J. D. Rosenthal received a B.F.A. with a Major in Visual Arts from Emily Carr University in Vancouver B.C. Canada.
