I am an English professor at Norfolk State University, where I designed a course in writing science fiction and fantasy. I am a past editor of DARK REGIONS and HORROR MAGAZINE. I am also one of the editors of the textbook, Variations on Humankind: An Introduction to World Literature. Critical articles have been published in CLA Journal, Studies in American Fiction, College Literature, etc. From 1998-1999, I was Chairman of the Board of Trustees of HWA, the Horror Writers Association.
