Author Rocky Rose was born and raised in New Haven, CT, she is the third child of four and her parents are ministers. Rocky's love of writing came from her love of reading; the two go hand in hand. She thought about pursuing writing as a career during her sophomore year of high school after she had to write a short story per her English teacher and after he read it he told her she had a great talent, but soon after that became a distant memory.
