D. L. Robinson grew up in a military family that traveled throughout the world, but spent most of his youth in Hawaii. Graduating from the University of New Mexico, he became a Navy Supply Officer and had various assignments such as Viet Nam, and serving as Assistant Supply Officer aboard the USS Okinawa when it picked up the Apollo 15 astronauts. A veteran traveler with a fondness for the Asian culture, Don presently resides in Pensacola Florida. An accomplished pianist, Don operates a busy computer consulting business.
