Roberts, Rachel Sherwood

Rachel S. Roberts was born in South America, attended schools in South Carolina and Virginia, and settled in the Midwest. After college, teaching, and marriage, she began her professional writing career. Her recent books include Art Smith, Pioneer Aviator; a biography, and This Red Earth and Beyond This Red Earth, two regional books that reflect changing generational lifestyles and attitudes in the rural South. Roberts is also an award winning playwright.
