Kathy Roberson is a writer, social worker, and mother with master's degrees in social work and creative writing. She brings to her professional work a personal understanding of the challenges families experience while raising children with special needs.

As the policy and information coordinator at New Jersey's Elizabeth M. Boggs Center on Developmental Disabilities, she was able to combine all of her passions to support families through a writers' group for caregivers.
