Richardson, John B., IV

JOHN B. RICHARDSON IV assumed command of the 3d Cavalry Regiment at Fort Hood, Texas, in November 2011. He graduated from the U.S. Military Academy and was commissioned as a Second Lieutenant in Armor in 1991. He served as a tank platoon leader and company executive officer in Germany. After graduation from the Armor Officer Advance Course, he served as a Battalion S-1, Tank Company Commander, and Headquarters and Headquarters Company Commander.
