W. Thomas ?Tom? Richards is a rare fourth generation Colorado native. He served in the US Army in Munich, Germany as Fire Direction Control Specialist for the 11th Airborne Artillery. He attended college at MSC in Denver, on the GI bill, where he received a double degree in Civil and Electrical Engineering. He is a licensed professional engineer and land surveyor for the State of Colorado. After 36 years of service, as a middle manager of a large utility company, he retired.
