T.K. Richards has been writing since her adolescent years as a young poet. As a former musician with works published under ASCAP, she wrote and released several songs in the R&B and Hip-Hop genre from 1991 to 2002. T.K. received the Poet Laureate Award and Excellence in Expository Writing of her graduating class, and graduated from Limestone College receiving the honor of Magna cum Laude. After living in various cities in the United States, she returned to her home state of South Carolina where she reunited with her love affair of writing.
