Father Christopher Rengers, O.F.M. Cap., was born in 1917 at Pittsburgh. In 1936 he became a Capuchin novitiate in Maryland, and finished professing his vows four years later. He was ordained in Washington, D.C. in 1942, and taught four years at St. Joseph College in Kansas before spending fifty years on various assignments through parish work. He is the author of "The Youngest Prophet", "Mary of the Americas", "Words from the Cross", and "They Played in Calvary s Drama".
