In Dixie Highway in Indiana, authors Jan Shupert-Arick and Russell Rein weave together the impact of the Dixie Highway on the Hoosier state and highlight the significance of Hoosier Carl G. Fisher's vision that inspired the nation's auto transportation system. Shupert-Arick is a northern Indiana native; Rein is a native of Ypsilanti, Michigan.
