Chris Ntombemhlophe Reid is an initiated igqirha (traditional healer and diviner) of the amaMpondo tribe of South Africa. He was called to his healing path in 1993 after working as a horticulturalist and now works full time consulting with people who need his help, training apprentices and writing books. He is the author of "The Sacred Pool," the story of how Nomtombomsa became a sangoma, soon to be reissued by Phupha Press (originally published by Juta as Nomtombomsa and the Sacred Pool). Chris lives between his homes in Cape Town and Pondoland, South Africa.
