The Branding of Thorne Barrow is Eldon's third novel. Eldon writes about foster and adopted children and the parenting of them. Why? Because he was one of them. He and his wife have adopted two of their three children and fostered several others. They now make their home in Temple, Texas - along with their two miniature Dachshunds, Heidi and Clara.
