Reed, Donna

Donna Reed was born in Memphis, Tennessee and grew up loving the art of writing. She views writing as a gift that has helped her to survive, heal, and grow. She studied at the University of Memphis receiving a bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice with a minor in Sociology. It was during this period in her life when her writing began to take form. One of her first poems, The Flight, appeared in Rhythms of Life, The International Library of Poetry in 2001.
