Keith Redfern was a teacher for 25 years and later the Administrative Secretary of a Quaker charity. He considers writing to be his third career although now officially retired. Married with three children and five grandchildren, he lives in the beautiful English county of Suffolk. When not writing he spends his time walking, choral singing, studying English history and travelling as often as possible. First Day Back is his first novel. Apportionment of Blame takes Joyce Hetherington's life further forward, and a third novel is almost ready for publication.
