Jeremy Ramsden is a professor of nanotechnology in the Materials Department of Cranfield University, United Kingdom. He has published over 100 research articles on related topics and has chaired several international conferences devoted to biomolecular interactions. He is editor-in-chief of the Journal of Biological Physics and Chemistry, and founder of the MEMOCS research consortium, uniting a dozen academic research groups and industrial firms in developing integrated-optical membrane-based sensors for medical and environmental applications.
