Rakestraw, Robert G.

Rakestraw grew up on a farm. He operated a dance school from 1946-66, then worked as a music teacher from 1966-72. He was a member of the Rome Symphony Orchestra from 1961-95, playing the contrabass. He is also an inventor with 2 U.S. patents and has been a working artist since 1971.
