Hillcrest, a leafy suburb on the outskirts of Durban, is the gateway to the Valley of a Thousand Hills and the breathtaking KwaZulu-Natal Midlands. I share a little wooden cottage with A German Shepherd/Doberman/Timberwolf who thinks he's the size of a Toy Pom and a miniature Maltese who thinks she's a Great Dane.
