Walter Rabetz received his BA Degree from Brooklyn College and his Masters of Fine Arts Degree from The Rhode Island School of Design where he studied with Harry Callahan. His work is included in many collections and museums. He was the Head of the Art Department at The Loomis Chaffee School in Windsor, CT for 37 years. One of his current photographic projects is a series of photo-essays, together titled "Embracing Place." This is the fourth book in that series, which includes, "The Bear Mountain Bridge, The Jewel of the Hudson;" "Peekskill;" and "Dogway, the Walkway Over the Hudson."
