Rabeeya has been teaching courses in Hebrew languages at Bryan Mawr College in Pennsylvania for more than 30 years. He is the author of 18 books including novels, poetry, plays, and historical commentaries. The theme of his writing has always been concerned with Arab-Jewish relationships. He was born in Baghdad of Jewish parents. He has a BA in History and Literature from the Hebrew University in Jerusalem, a MA in Semitic Languages from Tel Aviv University, and a PhD in Arabic from Dropsie University in Pennsylvania. He is an ordained rabbi.
