From an early age, Patricia was exposed to the supernatural power of God. When she was 9 years old, Patricia was baptized by A.A. Allen after her mother, Lucille Pugh, brought her to one of the healing evangelist's tent revivals in Shreveport, LA where young Patricia grew up.
