Andre Kraak is research director for Human Resources Development and Science Studies in the Education, Science, and Skills Development research program at the Human Sciences Research Council. He is the author of numerous of books and journal articles, and frequently presents at international conferences. He is the coauthor of "Debating High Skills and Joined-up Policy" and "Human Resources Development Review 2003." Karen Press is a freelance editor and writer and the author of seven collections of poetry; her poems have been published in many anthologies.
