Simone Comes Home is Loranne Marsh Temple's first children's book. Temple's book of short stories, Coming to You From the Blue Room, published by XOXOX Press in Gambier, OH, in 2004, was one of two runners-up for The Drake Emerging Writer Award in 2007 . The book's title story won the Best of Ohio Writers Award in 2001. She is a published poet and is working on a novel.
