Virginia Case came to the Sonoran desert from California. Inspired by the beauty and wonder of the unique flora and fauna, Virginia began writing this story about the incredibly human cacti called saguaros.She is currently at work on a novel and a book of travel poems. She and her husband live with Lilly the dog and Italy the cat in the foothills of the Santa Catalina Mountains.
