Powell, Philip A.

Philip A. Powell is currently a postdoctoral Research Associate in the Department of Economics at Sheffield University, UK, working on a project investigating the role of empathy in digital interactions. He recently completed his doctoral studies in Psychology at the aforementioned institution, with a thesis that explored the phenomenon of self-disgust in the context of depression. His expanding research interests center primarily on emotion, psychological well-being, and the relations that exist between the two.
