Potter, Jane Ross

The author is a Ph.D. biochemist who worked in a research laboratory for many years. Her previous novel "Because it's There" (Bennett & Hastings Publishing, Seattle WA) was a 2007 Indie Excellence finalist. "Because it's There" is a courtroom/climbing mystery that pits an amateur American climber against the heirs of an English climber lost on a Himalayan peak in the 1950's, to determine who can claim first summit credit.
