Marco Portales is Professor of English at Texas A&M University and has also held faculty appointments at the University of California, Berkeley, and the University of Houston–Clear Lake. This book is the third of his “Latino trilogy,” the previous volumes being Crowding Out Latinos and Latino Sun, Rising.
