Pone, Semisi

Mr Semisi Pone studied at the University of Auckland. He graduated with a BSc in 1985 and MSc (Hons) in 1989. He worked as a Plant Pathologist/Senior Plant Virologist for MAFF, Tonga, a Fellow at the University of the South Pacific in Samoa and also the Advisor/Co-odinator for the Plant Protection Services of the South Pacific Commission in Suva, Fiji. During his time with SPC he also served in the expert panel on Biosecurity, FAO (United Nations) in Rome as well as Regional Plant Protection Organisations technical meetings.
