L.S. Jones is an African-American writer who was born and raised in the small southern city of High Point, North Carolina. She comes from a family with strong and capable women, much like her characters, and is the proud parent of an amazing daughter. She has a close relationship with her mother, who she considers to be her best friend and biggest supporter. Always encouraged to follow her dreams, L.S. began writing at the tender age of six.
