LS Pomeroy has always loved people and telling stories. She began writing short stories at age 10, and poetry in her teens. In high school she gave inspirational talks at teen retreats, using stories to teach faith lessons. At 18 she served as an interim youth minister. She left college to work full-time, then married and raised her daughter. In her late 40's she was diagnosed with inoperable lung tumors at the same time as her first marriage ended.
