Pollack received his M.D. in 1982 from New Jersey Medical School, and completed residency and fellowship training in psychiatry at Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH). He is Director of the Anxiety Disorders Program and Director of the Psychopharmacology Fellowship Program for the Clinical Psychopharmacology Unit at MGH and Associate Professor of Psychiatry at Harvard Medical School.
