Editor Trilby Plants was hooked on words when, at the age of four, her mother read her Gulliver's Travels. She told stories, often made up, about fairies and monsters and how her brother was responsible for most things. She always wanted to be an author when she grew up. Plants is trying to grow up and has published poetry, creative nonfiction, short stories and a self-published fantasy novel. She is currently editor of The Petigru Review, the literary anthology of the South Carolina Writers' Workshop-SCWW.
