The author, born and educated in New York City has lived in Passaic, New Jersey, Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Asheville, North Carolina and currently in the Jacksonville, Florida area. He has a brother in Sarasota, Florida and a daughter in New Orleans. He is currently working on the second book in the Neila Book Series.
