Pinkston, Vartouhi

Vartouhi Pinkston was born in New York City in 1973. From very early age she exhibited a unique talent in painting which enabled her to win her first art contest at the age of five. As a child she was a student of the famed New York artist Anahid Janjigian. Vartouhi spent her first years of schooling at Holy Martyrs Armenian School in Bayside, Queens, where her artistic talents were nurtured and greatly encouraged.
