Pieper, Christiane

Christiane Pieper from Germany grew up on a farm with lots of animals and a piano. She studied art and went on to illustrate children's books for well-known German publishing houses, including Bertelsmann, Carlsen Verlag and Peter Hammer Verlag and for international publishers, such as Random House. Her very first picture work won her a prestigious German award - the Troisdorfer Bilderbuchpreis. Christiane Pieper illustrates novels too and has illustrated over 25 books in all.
