Pickles, Tom

Dr. Tom Pickles is a Professor in the Department of Radiotherapy and Developmental Radiotherapeutics at the University of British Columbia and a staff radiation oncologist at the Vancouver Clinic of the BC Cancer Agency. He has been specializing in the management of prostate cancer for over 20 years. He has taken a particular interest in doctor-patient communication, patient decision-making, screening, and active surveillance. He is credentialed in brachytherapy as well as the use of external radiation for prostate cancer treatment.
