Dana was born in Geneseo, Illinois to wonderful loving parents who worked very hard to provide for their children. He has been a Christian for 30 years and is still striving to be a good man of God. For more than 25 years, he has been affiliated with the U.S. military. First in the Army Reserves, then active duty Air Force, and now as an Air Force civil servant. His career has primarily been in the computer and information assurance world, with a couple of years in education.
