Perris, Anthony

Born in Greece in 1940, Tony was raised and educated in South Africa. Always passionate about films, he began his film career in 1958 working on theatrical film commercials at the former Killarney Film Studios in Johannesburg. In 1958 he was invited by the president of 20th Century-Fox, Mr Spyros P Skouras to study film production in Hollywood. Part of his training during this period included Acting For The Camera, taught by Sandy Meisner who was Head of Drama at 2Oth Century- Fox.
